Sri Batik Nyonya Cafe!!!

Cuisine:
Nyonya
What's Best:
Service!
Price Range:
RM4++ ~ RM30++ depends on dishes.

The experience in this cafe, is rather from bad to good. Outside, it seems like some luxury Malay halal style cafe which will scares away most of those medium class appetite. No, they serves pork, they are not halal, but they are pure authentic Nyonya style.

The dining environment is truly nice and with those Malay oldies songs playing as the background music, yes, you'll feel that this is the real dining experience in peranakan style. The waitress are friendly and helpful, they speak fluent English and help giving some directions for the foreigners. I can see most of the customers are mat salleh, but the waitress treated me equally as nice...

Okay, the moment of truth, the food! I ordered Nyonya Laksa and some coconut ice cream. All only RM9.50, no service tax charged! And I do feel that I should tip those nice waitress... :P

The laksa taste great!!! For the coconut ice cream, it is not as creamy and smooth as the one I've tried in Siam Express. This one is relatively cheaper compare to Siam Express also, and bigger portion. Cheaper, bigger, still par in value.
